There were a half dozen turtles in the deeper pools along the creek.

The lower waterfall was much bigger than I was expecting. This area is difficult to get to, so I am guessing it hardly ever gets visited.
There were some steep cliffs blocking access to the waterfall.

To complete the loop back to the car I needed to go most of the way back up Dalton Mountain (ridge in center).
