Dooly Knob. A side trail leads over there but I didn’t have time for it today.
There were nice views of Great Salt Lake throughout the hike.
One of several bison I saw on Antelope Island. There has been at least one death and multiple serious injuries from people getting too close. Thankfully all of the bison I saw were at a distance.
Stringham Peak from the trail. Frary Peak is a little further back on the ridge.
View back to White Rock Bay.
Nice trail with plenty of flowers along the way.
Frary Peak. The trail drops down on the right and wraps around to the back side of the peak. The rocky scramble along the ridge looked like it would have been fun but I was short on time.
View north from the summit.
Red Rocks to the southwest.
Red Rocks Canyon and Great Salt Lake to the west.
Promontory Mountains to the north.
Stansbury Island across the lake.
Southern end of Antelope Island. On the way out I made a quick detour to Stringham Peak. This was a little tricky because there was a bison near the summit. I gave him plenty of space and thankfully he didn’t seem to care.
